At Briggs Right of Way Services, exceeding our client’s expectations is the goal of every member of our team.

Jim Briggs

Jim Briggs, President and founder, began his career in the real estate industry in 1981 with the formation of several real estate holding entities, which eventually grew to 48 properties.  In 2000 he sold his interests to a publicly traded REIT and began advising real estate owners and self-storage developers.  In 2007 he moved to Texas and in 2010 he became a Licensed ROW agent and Independent Petroleum Landman.

 

From 2010 to present, Jim has provided right-of-way title research, easement and right-of-way acquisition, project and staff management services and negotiated damage settlements for clients throughout Texas.  He has worked on both public benefit and private projects and is familiar with the Eminent Domain laws of Texas.

 

Jim is known for his integrity and strong communication skills. He is a proven leader who is able to work effectively with landowners, clients and staff, allowing projects to proceed on time and on budget. 

 

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Vermont and was a practicing CPA for over 20 years.

Marilyn Jinkins

Marilyn Jinkins has over 30 years of experience in Oil, Gas and right of way serving clients in South, Central and West Texas.  Marilyn’s expertise is in abstracting title for right of way acquisition, curing title defects, preparing and acquiring right of way agreements along with settling damages.  Marilyn has an innate ability to communicate effectively with landowners, which allows her to quickly negotiate agreements while supporting each Landowner from acquisition through completion of construction. Marilyn has worked on numerous projects for pipeline companies, utility companies and oil and gas companies since 1993, which has expanded her knowledge in all areas of the business.  Marilyn works flawlessly with surveyors and draftsmen to create the most feasible route for each right of way. She often assists with the creation of proposed and as-built plats on many right of way acquisition projects. Marilyn began her right of way career as a part of the Central Texas leg of the Texas II pipeline for Koch.

Kyle Fullick

Kyle Fullick has over 30 years of experience working land and right of way projects throughout Texas and Louisiana and manages our southeast Texas office.  Kyle has prepared and negotiated thousands of agreements between landowners and clients, while always maintaining stellar relationships with landowners.  Mr. Fullick’s extensive knowledge of land title, right of way acquisition and project management enable him to complete projects on time and on budget. Mr. Fullick is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin.

Martha Fullick

Martha Fullick has been providing land services to clients throughout Texas since the mid-1980’s.  She is highly skilled in negotiating and acquiring rights of way, abstracting title, curing title defects, maintaining databases, preparing documents and client reporting.  Martha is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin and manages our Baytown Texas office.

Eddie Jinkins

Eddie Jinkins began his career in the land services industry in 1982.  Since then he has held a variety of positions as both a petroleum landman and a licensed right of way agent, for clients in Texas and New Mexico.  Eddie’s right of way experience includes, project planning,  right of way title, title curative, project management and reporting, and condemnation proceedings.  Mr. Jinkins is a very effective negotiator and is able to acquire rights of way and to resolve damage awards quickly, allowing projects to stay on time and on budget.  Mr. Jinkins holds a Texas real estate agent license and is a member of the AAPL and IRWA.  Eddie graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Lisa Dodds

Lisa Dodds has a vast array of experience in land responsibilities associated with right of way acquisition, operations and mineral leasing.  Her experience includes working in a start-up company, privately held small company and two large independents in Oil and Gas and with both a public and private renewables company. Having worked in both the Operations side as well as the Land Administration side she has worked every position from ROW Agent, Field Landman, in-house Land Administration to Landman and Land Manager.
